Wyoming Spring Bear Hunting Update

We have been enjoying the spring bear-hunting season in Western Wyoming and it has proved to be a great beginning to the 2017 hunting season. Our hunters have seen some beautiful color phase bears that this area is known for. The weather is warming up, snow is melting quickly from the high peaks, and bears are becoming very active.

The spring black bear hunt is a favorite tradition here at SNS Outfitter and Guides, among both our guides and our hunters. It’s the perfect way to begin a new year of hunting. The comfortable accommodations at the Box Y Lodge, relaxing days and then exciting afternoons of hunting make for a great experience.

The Greys River valley in Wyoming is known for producing color phase black bears and this year has been no exception. Here are a few of the bears so far from our spring hunting season:
