About SNS : Wyoming's Leader in Big Game Hunting
Sy Gilliland received his first outfitters license in 1977 at the age of 21 and over the past 30 plus years has developed SNS into one of the finest outfitting operations in Wyoming and Montana. SNS Outfitters operates on large private ranches located in prime game country and currently leases in excess of 700,000 acres between Wyoming and Montana. In 1996, SNS became an employee-owned corporation. This allowed us to expand our hunting operations and offer an even higher level of service to our clients. Our employees have an investment in SNS and a genuine desire to provide the best possible service. In 2004 SNS purchased Sheep Mountain Outfitters from Tim & Cindy Haberberger. That purchase allowed us to offer hunts in the famous Greys River area of western Wyoming. We began in the spring of 2005 with Black Bear hunts followed by Mule Deer, Elk and Moose that fall. After that purchase it was decided that SNS Outfitters needed a second outfitters license to insure that operations continued to operate smoothly. Egbert (Okee) VonSeggern an employee of SNS since 1984 and an employee/owner since 1996 became a licensed outfitter in 2004 and took over managing SNS Outfitters western operations on the Greys River. In 2007 SNS Outfitters purchased Jackson Hole Outfitters also on the Greys River. This purchase allows us to offer even more hunting opportunities and summer trail rides on the Greys River. This camp came with an experienced group of guides and Grant Gertsch as the camp manager. Grant has been guiding out of this camp for over 25 years.
