PRONGHORN ANTELOPE HUNT IN WYOMING: 2-5 DAYS : HUNT #1

When it comes to record book antelope hunting, Wyoming is the place to go and the areas we hunt in Wyoming are the place to be.
We manage our leases and limit the number of Record Book Antelope Hunts we take every year. Having great places to hunt and
large numbers of mature antelope is only part of being successful in harvesting Record Book Antelope. Antelope look alike to the average hunter but not to the seasoned guide. Antelope, because of the many different measurements, are the hardest big game animal to score on the hoof. SNS Outfitters has very experienced and seasoned antelope guides; in fact, they are some of the very best. You and your guide will be hunting for antelope that score in the upper 70s to mid 80s. SNS Outfitters & Guides has a lifetime success rate of 96% and our hunters have been successful in harvesting an incredible number of antelope making the book by scoring over 80 inches. We have taken many antelope with a score of over 80 inches SCI and with one breaking the 90 inch mark. We take a limited number of record book antelope hunts and spots fill fast so don't wait.
You can hunt record book antelope either from camp or from town. If you choose a camp hunt you will be staying in one of our several camps where, after an early breakfast, you head out to start the day. If you choose a town hunt your guide will meet you at your motel in the morning. Our hunting areas are not far from town, so don't worry about long drives to start your day of hunting. We use 4x4 vehicles for both hunts. A lot of time is spent spotting and glassing antelope until your experienced guide finds the one you have both have been looking for. This is where the fun begins. The stalk is planned and every bit of terrain is used to walk, crawl or do whatever it takes to get you within range of that record book antelope. Generally this hunt takes place with two hunters and one guide, but if you wish a one-on-one option is available at an additional cost.
The following system is used to define a record book antelope: 14-16 inches of horn length. An antelope qualifies for Record Book status when it scores in the high 70s and above using the Safari Club International scoring system.
The record book hunt areas can be harder to draw, so we strongly recommend you enroll in our preference point program.
This is our top-of-the-line antelope hunt and a great choice for those who have hunted antelope before and are trying to find that really special animal.
This trophy antelope hunt is our most popular antelope hunt. This hunt is conducted on private leases that SNS Outfitters has managed for many years. Our leases contain hundreds of antelope offering continuous hunting action. With almost
every herd containing mature bucks we average a 96% success rate on these hunts and the tags are 100% draw. This hunt is three days long with two hunters per guide, or you may book a one-to-one guide option for an additional fee. Trophy antelope hunts can take place from either camp or town. If you hunt from camp, the dates of your hunt will determine the camp that you will be in. Our town hunts take place out of Casper, WY so, if you hunt from town, you will be hunting one of our ranches close to town. During your hunt you will start your day with an early breakfast and head out on your hunt, using 4x4 vehicles, with your experienced guide to spot and stalk your trophy Antelope.
We describe a trophy antelope as a buck having a 13 inch horn or longer and a Safari Club International score of 70 or more. We hunt hard and most antelope we take will be larger than our minimum standards.
We started offering archery antelope hunts in 2011 and that very same year had 100% success rate on trophy antelope harvested. This hunt takes place on one of our premium antelope leases, using ground blinds over water holes. This is a 5 day hunt and offered from town only.
The day starts with your guide picking you up at your hotel and taking you to a blind by a water hole where a trophy buck has been spotted. These spots will be scouted prior to your arrival and also during your hunt. This is a great opportunity for an archery hunter to get a trophy antelope and be the first to hunt that lease for the year.
: We started offering a two buck antelope Hunt in 2009. Because of the abundance and quality of pronghorn antelope in this area, we are confident that a hunter has a 95-100% chance of successfully getting two trophies in three days of hunting. The antelope are hunted on two different ranches. You have the option to either hunt the two buck antelope from town or camp. Like our other town hunts you will be staying in Casper, WY. This is a lot of hunting and action for the money. This hunt is likely to fill up fast so don’t wait too long to book!
This is a great hunt for that first time out-west
hunter or a parent bringing a child on their first hunt. This is also a
great hunt for the person with limited time or budget. This is a 2-day
hunt from town only with 2-3 hunters per guide. Like our trophy antelope
hunt you will have a lot of action and opportunity to harvest a very respectable antelope.
