PRAIRIE DOG HUNT : HUNT #10
We offered prairie dog shoots in Wyoming and Montana for the first time in 2004 and this opportunity for top prairie dog hunting was a big hit. This is a great way to enjoy hours of shooting and have a great deal of fun. We offer these 2+ day prairie dog hunts during the months of June and July. Our existing property leases in Wyoming host very large populations of prairie dogs and offer the ultimate rifleman's challenge. You fly into Casper, WY or Billings, MT depending on where your hunt will take place and we offer a camp-based hunt or you may stay in a motel, your choice. A typical day on a prairie dog hunt involves 6-8 hours of shooting time from a quality bench rest set up in the field. We take a break at lunch time then back at it until it's time to quit for the day and head in. Our guide-hunter ratio is 2-3 shooters per guide and a minimum party of two or more shooters is required. Bring your favorite varmint rifle and at least 500 rounds of ammo. Come on out and try it once and we know you will be hooked!
