MULE DEER & PRONGHORN ANTELOPE HUNT IN WYOMING: 3-5 DAYS: HUNT #2
Early October is the perfect time to book a combination mule deer/antelope hunt. SNS leases in excess of 62,000 acres of prime mule deer and antelope habitat on which we conduct this hunt. We have been managing this area for over 20
years. The area produces 13"-15" Antelope on the average with a few larger bucks harvested each year. Quality mule deer is what this hunt is all about. This hunt consistently produces quality trophy buck deer. Access roads are fairly plentiful
on the ranches so all hunts are conducted using 4x4 vehicles.
The hunt begins, after an early breakfast, by leaving camp before daylight with your experienced guide (1 guide per 2 hunters). We spread out to different areas where the vehicle is often parked and the country is worked on foot. A large amount of glassing and a careful stalk often results in an opportunity to harvest a dream buck. The antelope hunt will take place from the same camp.
This hunt includes all meals and lodging during the hunt. Most years,
success runs 100% on shooting with a 95-100% kill rate on buck deer
& buck antelope. The deer property has large stands of mature
Ponderosa pine that spills into steep crags & coulees lined with
deep sage and juniper. Cottonwood creek bottoms are often a favorite
hangout for mule deer in early morning & evening.
License draw has been 100% for both deer & antelope tags; points are not
needed to draw these tags.
