If you ever wanted to go hunting for whitetail and mule deer in Wyoming in the rut, this is the place to hunt and harvest a rutting mule or whitetail deer. This deer-only hunt takes place on a 10,000 acre property near Newcastle, Wyoming just 20 minutes from our ranch. This property has a very large number of whitetail deer with a very respectable population of mule deer. We typically go hunting for whitetail deer in the morning and evenings with mule deer hunting during the day. You can also take a turkey or antelope on this hunt.

This is one of our most physically demanding hunts as there are no roads on this ranch and being able to cover ground on foot is a must.

We limit this deer hunt to 10 hunters each year which is spread out through a 20-day season. We hunt with one guide for every two hunters. Licenses are good for either a mullie or whitetail deer with one buck allowed per hunter. This is a town-based hunt out of Newcastle.

The typical license draw rate is 100% for deer and antelope with a 100% success rate.
