TROPHY WHITETAIL & MULE DEER HUNT IN WYOMING: 5 DAYS : HUNT #4
If you ever wanted to go hunting for whitetail and mule deer in Wyoming during the rut, this is the place to hunt and harvest a rutting mule or whitetail deer. This deer hunt takes place on a 10,000 acre property near Newcastle, Wyoming just 20 minutes from our ranch. This property has a very large number of whitetail deer with a smaller population of mule deer. We typically go hunting for whitetail deer in the morning and evenings with mule deer hunting during the day. You can also take a turkey or antelope on this hunt.
This is one of our more physically demanding hunts as there are very few roads used on this ranch. Our hunting style involves hiking into an area to set up to intercept deer going to and from the hay fields.
We limit this deer hunt to 10 hunters each year which is spread out through a 20-day season. We hunt with one guide for every two hunters. Licenses are good for either a mulie or whitetail deer with one buck allowed per hunter. This is a town-based hunt out of Newcastle.
The typical license draw rate is 100% for deer and antelope with a 100% success rate.
