TROPHY MULE DEER IN MONTANA: HUNT #6
Trophy mule deer hunting in Montana is an experience not to be missed. This top notch rutting mule deer hunt takes place on our 42,000 acre leased property in southeast Montana, located in the heart of Big Sky Country; this gem of a hunt produces outstanding mule deer every year. Antelope can be hunted during the first hunt either alone or in combination with a mule deer.
We stay at a local motel in Miles City, Montana. The ranch is 32 miles south of Miles City, so it's a short 30 minute drive. After we get to the ranch we get out the glasses and start looking for that trophy mule deer. After your trophy is spotted we start the stalk and close the distance. This style of hunting is exciting, and with these bucks in full rut we get the opportunity to look at plenty of mulies. Montana changed its license system in 2011; deer licenses are now on a draw with draw rates of 80% or better anticipated. Antelope licenses are also issued by a lottery. This hunt is usually a 100% success rate every year. The guide ratio is two hunters per guide. 2012 Hunt Prices
