SNS Outfitters & Guides offered for the first time in 1999 our Montana and Wyoming deer hunting trip, a great opportunity to collect two deer in one week of hunting. This hunt takes place during the rut, a prime time to go deer hunting for two bucks.
Our Montana deer hunting trips takes place out of Miles City, Montana. This top notch rutting mule deer hunt takes place on our 42,000 acre leased property in southeast Montana, right in the heart of Big Sky, trophy deer hunting country.
We stay at a local motel in Miles City, Montana and drive the 30-minute drive to the ranch each day for our hunt.
The Wyoming portion of the 2-state deer hunt takes place on a 10,000 acre property near Newcastle, Wyoming. This property has a very large population of whitetail deer and a decent number of mule deer. We hunt hay fields in the morning and evening, basically using spot and stalk methods to catch deer moving between bedding areas and the hay fields. If we have a particular buck patterned we will also set up to intersect him.
The 2-state deer hunt is a great hunt which offers you the opportunity to harvest two quality deer in a week of hunting. The Wyoming hunt will be primarily for whitetails, and rutting mule deer will be hunted in Montana.
We start your hunt in Newcastle Wyoming. If flying it is best to fly into Billings Montana, rent a car and drive to Newcastle Wyoming. Once you take your Wyoming buck then you will drive to Miles City, Montana to hunt your Montana deer.
