July 1st: Purchase Your Wyoming Preference Points

Wyoming Preference Points

Wyoming preference points go on sale July 1st.  Wyoming does not issue preference points automatically if you did not draw a first-choice license in 2019.

Instead, you must purchase points between July 1st and October 31st. If you drew a first-choice license in 2019, you will not be able to purchase a point for that species until the following year.

If you’d like to hunt Wyoming at any point in the future, purchasing a point for your desired species is highly recommended. Please be aware that you can only purchase one point per species per year. Points only cost you a small fee, but open the door to Wyomings best hunting opportunities. You can see point costs and details here.

While many of our hunts here at SNS don’t take years and years to draw, like other western states, you do need preference points to assist in drawing a tag sooner. Wyoming is home to some of the best opportunities with only a small number of points, contact us today to learn more about acquiring 2019 points.

If you’re considering a hunt with us here at SNS Outfitter and Guides: join our Preference Point Program, and we’ll handle the points and the application process for you. When you book a hunt with us, we will deduct the cost of the points from the total cost of your hunt.

You can view Wyoming preference point prices and read all the details about our point program on our preference point page. If you have questions or would like to purchase preference points, give us a call at 307-266-4229.
