Time flies when you're doing what you love. On June 15, 2025, we celebrated 15 years of Ambrosia at SNS Outfitter and Guides.
She started with us on June 15, 2010, as a part-time bookkeeper and office manager. At the time, her kids were just 10, 8, and 5. What began as a flexible position for a young mom quickly turned into a full-time role. Somewhere along the way, she made the job her own. Today, all three of her kids are grown and out in the world, and she's now a proud grandma to a one-year-old grandson with another on the way.
The staff at SNS will all tell you the same thing.
Ambrosia runs the show. Whether it's tracking down paperwork, solving a problem, or answering a question, she's the one they go to. Clients hear from her just as often, whether they're booking a hunt, making a payment, confirming arrival dates and times, or double-checking what gear to pack. Around here, she's earned the nickname "the office ninja" and for good reason. She keeps everything moving behind the scenes with speed, precision, and a whole lot of patience.
Over the years, Ambrosia has spent time at each of our camps so she can give hunters the best possible guidance.
As a hunter herself, she understands what our guides, cooks, and clients need in order to be successful in the field. That firsthand experience means she can answer just about any question a hunter might have, and her insight is second to none. The detailed trip planning information our clients receive was written by her, based on years of handling questions and helping hunters prepare for their trips.
Outside of work, Ambrosia enjoys spending time with her family, tending to her hobby farm, and tackling home improvement projects.
She's a skilled cook and always has something up her sleeve to keep herself busy. She says she's a jack of all trades, master of none, but we'd argue she's pretty close to mastering most of them.
