Antelope Camp Equipment List
This list has been built over years of hunts and is proven to keep hunters comfortable and prepared. Please follow it closely.
Clothing
- Hat with brim
- Cold weather hat
- 2 pair hunting pants
- 2 long sleeve shirts
- 2 short sleeve shirts
- 1 pair long underwear (top and bottom)
- 1 sweater (wool or fleece)
- 3 pair underwear
- 3 pair socks (at least 1 pair warm wool socks)
- Cold weather gloves
- Heavy Gore-Tex parka
- Rain gear (top and bottom)
- Uninsulated lightweight hiking boots
- Leather gloves
- 10" insulated cold weather hiking boots
Hunting Equipment
- Scoped, bolt-action rifle with sling (sighted in at 200 yards)
- Shooting sticks (must extend for use from a sitting position)
- 2 boxes of ammunition
- Binoculars (10 power) – spotting scopes and range finders optional
- Flashlight with extra batteries
- Soft gun case (for transport in guide’s vehicle)
- Lightweight, quiet, frameless backpack
- Fluorescent orange or pink vest (solid or camo – both are legal in Wyoming)
- Sharp hunting knife
- Sunglasses
- Wyoming hunting license (if not held by SNS)
- Hunter Safety Certificate (if born after Jan 1, 1966)
Personal Care
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
- Toiletries
- Chapstick
- Sunscreen
- Any medication or personal items you require
Note
Depending on your camp location, a sleeping bag, bath towel, and wash cloth may be required. This information will be provided to you upon booking.
