Hunt Policies & Payment Information
Before booking your hunt, please review the following policies and payment information. This page outlines what to expect when it comes to deposits, license draws, final payments, and other important details.
If you have any questions, feel free to call us at (307) 266-4229.
Hunt Deposits
- A 50% deposit is required to confirm your hunt booking.
- For combination hunts, if you draw a license for one species but not the other, the deposit will be applied to the hunt for the species drawn. The hunt will proceed as scheduled, and the deposit is not eligible for refund or rollover.
Annual Hunt Pricing
Hunt prices are set annually on October 15 for the following year’s hunts. For example, if you have a hunt booked for 2027, the invoice you receive on October 15, 2026 will reflect the 2027 pricing.
Final Payments
The remaining balance for your hunt is due 60 days prior to your hunt start date.
Refunds
- SNS Outfitter & Guides does not issue refunds for canceled hunts for any reason.
- If you are unsuccessful in drawing a license for a single-species hunt, your deposit may be refunded or rolled over to the following year.
- ⚠️ Withdrawn applications do not count as failure to draw — the deposit is non-refundable.
- Refunds for unsuccessful draws will be processed within 90 days of official WGFD notification.
- No refunds or extra days due to area closures, lost opportunity, or season closures. No refunds or extra days for early departures or late arrivals.
Trip Cancellation Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance to protect your hunt investment in case of illness, injury, work conflict, or other unforeseen events.
In the event of illness, injury, work emergencies, or travel disruptions, trip insurance can help prevent financial loss. Most plans also offer coverage for lost or damaged gear, medical expenses, and emergency evacuation.
Upon booking, we will send information on coverage through Ripcord Rescue Travel Insurance.

Guarantee & Disclaimer
We guarantee to provide experienced, knowledgeable, and properly equipped guides, and to help match your expectations with the appropriate hunt. Our team is committed to treating every client with respect and dignity while conducting ethical, fair-chase hunts.
Our guarantee does not extend to factors beyond our control, including weather conditions, equipment maintenance, animal behavior, your physical condition, shooting ability, eyesight, or emergency or area closures. SNS Outfitter & Guides is a hardworking, honest operation that takes pride in its reputation for excellent customer service and consistently high hunter success.
SNS Outfitter & Guides is not responsible for the loss of or damage to personal gear. We recommend insuring rifles and other valuable equipment against breakage or loss during your hunt.
All photos shown in our brochure, website, and social media represent past client success. Our hunts pursue wild, free-ranging animals, and outcomes can be influenced by weather, wildfire, area closures, animal movement, disease, and population fluctuations. While we work hard to provide every client with the best possible opportunity, SNS Outfitter & Guides does not guarantee the harvest of a trophy or any animal.
Alcohol Policy
No alcohol may be consumed during the day’s hunt or while handling firearms or archery equipment. Alcoholic beverages may be consumed in camp only after hunting has concluded for the day. Alcohol must be purchased and transported to camp by the hunter prior to arrival, as it is not provided by SNS Outfitter & Guides.
Wounded Animal Policy
Our wounded animal policy is straightforward. If an animal is wounded and blood is drawn, that animal is considered your harvest, regardless of whether it is recovered. Every reasonable effort will be made by you and your guide to locate and retrieve the animal, but no additional animal will be taken.
Firearm Safety Policy
Safety is our highest priority, particularly when it comes to firearm handling.
Firearms must be carried unloaded at all times unless your guide instructs otherwise. Your guide will advise you when it is appropriate to load your magazine and when a round may be chambered. At no time should a round be chambered without direct instruction from your guide.
Before placing a firearm in a vehicle or horse scabbard, the bolt must be open and the chamber visibly clear. All firearms must remain unloaded while in camp. Safe muzzle control is mandatory at all times. If your guide instructs you to adjust your muzzle, you are expected to do so immediately and ensure the issue is not repeated.
All hunts are conducted in strict compliance with Wyoming Game & Fish regulations. Failure to follow these firearm safety rules may result in immediate termination of your hunt. Hunts terminated due to unsafe firearm handling are not eligible for refund.
