Prairie Dog Shoots – Casper, Wyoming

If you’re looking for a fun, action-packed day in the field, our Prairie Dog Shoots are a Wyoming summer favorite.

These hunts take place just outside of Casper and offer excellent shooting opportunities across expansive prairie dog towns set in classic high-plains country. It’s a great option for groups of friends, families, or anyone who enjoys plenty of trigger time in a relaxed and social setting.

Dates are selected by the clients, with hunts available throughout May and June when shooting conditions are typically ideal. A minimum of two shooters is required, with a maximum of four shooters per group to ensure everyone has a comfortable and enjoyable experience in the field. All bookings require a minimum of two days.

Clients are responsible for their own motel accommodations and meals while in Casper. We provide professional guide service, transportation during the hunt, field lunch and drinks each day, as well as shooting benches and sandbags to keep you comfortable and steady behind the rifle.

Bring your favorite rifle, plenty of ammunition, and be ready for fast-paced shooting and long days on the prairie. We’ll take care of the rest and make sure you have a safe, enjoyable, and memorable Wyoming shooting experience.
