Whitetail Deer
Newcastle, WY

About the Hunt
Experience the peak of the Wyoming rut in the famed Black Hills, one of the state’s most productive whitetail Our 10,000-acre ranch in northeast Wyoming has been carefully managed by SNS for more than 30 years. The property blends cultivated fields that attract thriving whitetail populations with rugged, timbered terrain that mule deer call home. Together, this landscape delivers a dynamic and rewarding hunt in the heart of November’s rut.
Each day begins early, well before dawn, as hunters head out to pattern whitetail movement from bedding areas to feeding fields. After an active morning in the field, guests return to town for a hearty lunch and some downtime before heading out again in the afternoon. The evening hunt focuses on intercepting deer as they move toward the fields at dusk, creating incredible opportunities as the light fades. Because this hunt often involves sitting through the crisp November mornings and evenings, warm clothing is essential.
This is an extremely limited hunt, with space for only ten hunters each year, making early booking highly recommended. License draw odds are 100%, making preference points beneficial but not manditory.
