Early October marks the ideal window for a combination mule deer and antelope adventure. The area produces antelope averaging 13-15 inches and mule deer boasting spreads of 20-26 inches, typically with 4 X 4 racks. All hunts are conducted using 4x4 vehicles on plentiful access roads. (No horses are used for these hunts.)

Hunters kickstart their day with a hearty breakfast before setting out before dawn. Utilizing vehicles for glassing and embarking on foot for the hunt, glassing and strategic stalks with our professional hunting guides often yield dream-worthy bucks. With both antelope and mule deer hunts based from the same camp, shot opportunities typically result in a high success rate of 95-100% for buck harvests. The diverse terrain, ranging from Ponderosa pine hills to sage-lined draws and rolling plains with cottonwood creek bottoms, provides excellent habitat for both species.

Drawing licenses for mule deer and antelope necessitates Wyoming Preference Points due to the hunt’s popularity, often booking a year or two in advance.

With a thriving elk population also on this ranch, SNS Outfitter has started offering management bull elk and cow elk hunts.

A management bull elk hunt is defined as a bull with five (5) points or less on either antler. With a high success rate and limited availability, this hunt is conducted via truck access with hiking, also utilizing Wyoming Elk Preference Points for license acquisition.

Testimonials

My guide was fantastic! He was very patient and tailored the hunt to exactly what I wanted. Hunting with my guide was like hunting with a good friend.
Fresh back home from a great hunt near Wright. Took a solid mule deer and a dandy antelope. For my first goat, I couldn't be more pleased. Want to send out my thanks and give my guide Brad a shout out.
One of the best hunts I have had over my 35 years of guided hunting trips. As you cowboys say “this was not my first rodeo” I have well over 200 hunts under my belt, this was one of the best!
